"There is no biological marker for ADHD," according to a study in the January 1, 2000 edition of the Journal of Learning Disabilities.23 In simple terms, this means there is no proof; of course, a bogus diagnosis will never provide any proof, regardless of how many research billions are consumed in searching for it.
Even the U.S. National Institutes of Health stated, after its 1998 hearing on ADHD, that "although research has suggested a central nervous system basis for ADHD, further research is necessary to firmly establish ADHD as a brain disorder."26 [Emphasis added] WARNING: No one should stop taking any psychiatric drug without advice and assistance by a competent non-psychiatric medical doctor. |
